How Your Role Fits Into BoldtAs a Construction Project Manager II, you will manage all aspects of project execution, including budget, schedule, forecasting, safety, quality, and communication with stakeholders. You will protect and promote the Boldt brand on every project.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to resolve design and field issues.
- Coordinate design and construction efforts through meetings with contractors and A/E representatives.
- Empower and lead a high-performance team, coaching performance and development.
- Support company internship and apprenticeship programs and engage in training initiatives.
- Mentor assistant project managers and project engineers.
- Lead the Boldt Production System – master scheduling, production strategies, work readiness, and daily planning.
- Facilitate subcontractor trade coordination meetings, look‑ahead planning meetings, and submittal review meetings.
- Manage the supply chain procurement process to align with project milestones.
- Maintain up‑to‑date production visuals and logistics plans.
- Negotiate and manage change orders, prepare cost analysis, and coordinate approvals from architects and owners.
- Conduct technical cost control support and lead budget sections as assigned.
- Prepare contract item lists, scope documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Participate in the close‑out process, preparing final records, warranties, as‑builts, and manuals.
- Perform risk management – identify, analyze, plan responses, and monitor controls to ensure corrective action.
- Engage in day‑to‑day safety activities, implementing the Safety Culture Improvement Plan.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
- Seven or more years of related experience.
- Solid understanding of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and building materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery, financial data, production planning, and lean process improvement.
- Ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve results.
- Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365).
Duty includes positioning objects, operating tools, and frequent computer use. Workers may need to ascend ladders, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel to on‑site construction locations. Work may occur in heat, cold, wet, or dry conditions and requires personal protective equipment. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

$112,500 – $148,753 per year.
