Facilities Technician

The Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by providing general maintenance and repairs at the property.

• Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals
• Assist with training and developing team members
• Respond to maintenance calls and provide general maintenance including, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, HVAC needs, painting, removing snow, gardening, and cleaning
• Conduct inspections of public areas daily, conduct and document preventative maintenance initiatives regularly
• Keep all mechanical areas in a neat, orderly working condition
• Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests as needed
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when required
• Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs
• Coordinate maintenance and repair needs with other departments as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• High school or equivalent is required
• Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry preferred
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

• Target Salary Range: $30.16/hr

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 pounds
• Frequently required to reach overhead
• Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time
• You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position
