St. Michael Catholic Church is seeking a reliable and experienced individual housekeeper to provide regular cleaning and limited laundry services for the Redemptorist Residence (church rectory). This role requires professionalism, trustworthiness, and respect for a religious residential setting. English proficiency is required.

• Vacuuming and dusting of hallways, libraries, elevator landing, interior of elevator, and laundry room
• Cleaning and dusting of all surfaces in public areas

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of hallways, TV room, Fireside Room, chapel, laundry room, and elevator landing
• Cleaning and dusting of all surfaces in public areas
• Cleaning the breakfast room with the kitchen, including:
  • Countertops, sinks, backsplash, and refrigerator (interior and exterior as needed)
  • Exterior surfaces of appliances (oven, microwave, dishwasher)
  • Stovetop and microwave interior as needed
  • Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor
  • Emptying trash
• Cleaning second-floor restroom, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and all surfaces

• Cleaning and vacuuming the carpeted east hallway to the elevator area
• Dining room cleaning and mopping
• Cleaning and dusting of all surfaces
• Emptying trash
• Occasional table setting as requested
• The main kitchen is cleaned by a separate service

• Cleaning of three stairwells (east, middle—carpeted, and south), including floors and all surfaces

• Five guest rooms (3 on the third floor, 2 on the second floor)
• Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of all surfaces, trash removal, and changing bedding

• Currently, five private rooms request service
• Cleaning, vacuuming, cleaning of all surfaces, and sheet changes at varying intervals
• Laundry service for one room

Duties and schedule may be adjusted as needs change.

• Prior housekeeping experience required
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• Respect for privacy, professional boundaries, and the religious nature of the residence
• Use of appropriate, non-abrasive cleaning products
• Compliance with health and safety standards

This position has an hourly salary range of $17.00 - $27.00. An employee’s pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
