We are now hiring for a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our Learning & Wellness Center Team!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in the maintenance of property and facilities.
- Carries out specific tasks regarding maintenance to buildings.
- Assists in preparation of site buildings for the changing uses in summer, fall, winter, and spring.
- Carries out specific duties related to the center, including housekeeping, and distribution of supplies, and other tasks.
- Reports all needs for maintenance repair to Site Supervisor.
- Assists with specific tasks such as cleaning the outside of the property and other light duties such as washing windows and doors, shoveling, and spreading salt during winter.
- 3 years of experience required or HS/GED with demonstrated aptitude to develop basic maintenance skills
- Demonstrated aptitude to learn basic maintenance skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Ability to organize.
The average starting salary or compensation for this position will fall in the range of $15.40 to $17.00 hourly. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.
