Responsibilities
With moderate supervision, maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate & monitor Engine Room. (NH3 compressors)
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning Plant Heating & Refrigeration equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain plant Ammonia system, coolers, Heating & cooling Units.
- Keeping your work area clean & performing other related duties as assigned.
- Performs preventative & corrective maintenance as indicated by maintenance supervisor using CMMS software Mpulse.
- Monitoring & repair steam Boilers, Fire system, wastewater, air compressors & hot water system.
- Trouble shooting mechanical and electrical failures in order resolve issues with various facility equipment, compressors, pumps, evaporators, condensers, fans, etc.
- Must have the ability to plan necessary repairs by ordering parts or scheduling PM & repairs with outside contractors.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
