The selected candidate must reside in the northeast region, or in the surrounding area.
As the Facilities Manager - Northeast, you will be responsible for managing the daily work orders, repairs, and replacements in a timely manner. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making occasional “hands-on” store-level repairs as deemed necessary by the Supervisor. The position requires travel by car, public transportation, and/or plane on a weekly basis depending on each situation. The position collaborates closely with all members of the Facilities and other departments, including Store Operations management, to achieve reductions in R&M, replacement costs, and downtime.
This role is remote with weekly travel. Travel is expected to be 50%+ in support of east coast restaurants. The selected candidate must reside in one of the cities listed below with close proximity to major airports.

- Position requires supervisory responsibilities for both technical and administrative duties. 60% or more of the time is focused on supervisory responsibilities; the remaining time is spent performing various maintenance tasks with minimal oversight and using discretion and independent judgment to prioritize projects.
- Maximizes productivity and the life of equipment by using sound judgment on repairing vs. replacing.
- Prioritizes and schedules the maintenance and repairs of all restaurant building envelopes, interior décor and finishes, and all cooking equipment.
- Controls and monitors inventory.
- Ensures adherence to Brand safety policies, governing agency codes, regulations and procedures, including health department and property management issues, in compliance with all OSHA and city ordinances.
- Leads, manages, and supports maintenance and daily repairs for multiple locations; ensures repairs are completed in a timely manner with urgency.
- Manages, supervises, and oversees vendors and contractors to ensure efficient repairs aligned with Kura standards. Oversees repairs and replacements by contractors and third parties on a wide range of restaurant equipment, electrical systems HVAC/R, plumbing and building structures; ensures accountability, quality of work, schedule adherence, and implements best practices as established by Kura USA.
- Manages, operates, and leads work order systems such as Service Channel.
- Assists in selecting vendors and contractors.
- Works with Facilities Team, vendors, and Operations teams to develop strong relationships.
- Addresses concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on outstanding repairs/projects.
- Responds in a timely manner to emergency work orders, repairs, phone calls, and emails.
- HVAC/R repairs, building and cooking equipment repairs/replacements, plumbing, electrical, painting, and all other maintenance duties.
- Develops and manages a daily/weekly work schedule to minimize impact and downtime on equipment and restaurant operations.
- Maintains store furniture and equipment in good working condition (A/C, fridge, freezer, fryers, hot water units, etc.) to support store operations and facilities department.
