Maintenance Assistant

Ingleside Communities in Mt.. Horeb, WI is looking for a full-time maintenance technician to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand or walk during an 8-hour day.
• Must be physically able to lift, push, and/or pull a maximum of 80# waist-high and 50# overhead, with frequent lifting and pushing/pulling of objects up to 25#.
• Must be able to frequently bend, squat, or climb during an 8-hour day.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clear driving record.

Working Conditions:

• May be exposed to chemicals.
• May be subject to varying temperatures.
• May involve tasks with exposure to blood, body fluids, or mucous membranes unexpectedly or on short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the facility internally and externally according to regulations.
• Maintain the grounds of the facility.
• Assist with snow removal in winter and ensure walkways and entrances are properly maintained at all times.
• Move residents' furniture, clothing, etc., to assigned rooms.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with other duties as needed.
• Transport residents to and from appointments using the Ingleside van.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Administrator to maintain a quality maintenance department.
