- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean high and low areas.
- Clean and supply restrooms.
- Clean and supply kitchens.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Back up to Maintenance Engineer.
- Train new custodians.
- Track supply inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Special cleaning as assigned.
- Display a professional demeanor.
- Participate in local networking and training opportunities.
- Wash towels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

RelationshipsThe custodian works closely withidde the Director of Facilities & Support Services and the Support Services Team.
QualificationsA strong janitorial background with 3+ years’ experience in office cleaning is required. Candidates must be able to lift 25 lbs. or more, climb ladders, and operate mid-sized equipment.

- Free life insurance at 2x your salary up to a maximum of $200,000.
- Additional pay of 10% of your salary up to $7,500 per year (available after 6 months of employment) toward benefits such as health, dental, vision, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, 403b, Roth, legal coverage, dependent care, flexible spending, and taxable spending.
- Taxable spending may be used for health club membership, fitness activities, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, among other options.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): starts accruing on the first day of employment and accrues at a rate of 35 days in a 12‑month period; PTO goes up to 40 days after 5 years.
- Additional PTO for FMLA‑related reasons up to 20 days.
- A remote work policy providing flexibility in work hours as long as operational needs are met.
- Regular expert training on evidence‑based therapy modalities, including the ability to earn Continuing Education Units.
- The ability to wear jeans and enjoy afternoon milk and cookies every Friday.
