We are looking for a part‑time heavy equipment maintenance professional to join our aviation ground support equipment (GSE) repair team. The role involves maintaining and repairing forklifts, k‑loaders, generators, deicers, fuel trucks, tugs, and other gas and/or diesel powered equipment.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• English language communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum three (3) years of industrial and/or commercial maintenance experience.
• Basic arc/mig and acetylene welding skills; troubleshooting and repair of gas and diesel engines, automatic and manual transmissions, drive trains, hydraulic systems, battery‑operated equipment, and related components.
• Skill in changing light and heavy‑duty tires and wheels; ability to work independently in a non‑supervised position.
• Basic computer skills.
• Complete set of mechanical tools suitable for vehicle maintenance and repair (company will provide specialized tools).
• Proficiency in all the above areas.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces.
• Capability to perform work at heights.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

• Six (6) months of formal approved technical training/schooling in automotive maintenance or truck/implement devices.
• Two (2) years of experience with industrial and/or commercial vehicle/equipment servicing and minor repair. One (1) or more years of formal, approved schooling can be considered as one (1) year of overall experience requirements.
• Prior military GSE experience.
• Typing skills and computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
