ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Cleaner. We have many leaders at ABM who started their career in this role so if you want to grow, we can show you how. The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

• Clean the assigned area which could be a building, hospital, warehouse, schools, universities, and other facilities.
• Duties may include cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Dusting furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights, and blinds, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning windows, restrooms and other normal cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

• Complete work orders that are within your classification.
• Responsible for moving all trash containers on property.
• Maintain the equipment for garbage removal.
• Assist with snow and ice removal.
• Maintain and clean common spaces, mechanical, electrical and shop areas.
• Assist with the trash‑out of vacant apartments
• Coordinate parts, supplies, and equipment from local vendors and inventory.
• Perform simple procedures and tasks and other routine maintenance duties.

• Certification meeting OSHA ACM awareness training requirements as required.
• Working knowledge of energy conservation strategies (energy saving lighting, etc.).
• Process administrative paperwork in accordance to departmental policies and procedure.
• Actively function as a team member.
• Demonstrates commitment to quality of service.
• Comply and participate in facility specific safety programs.
• Maintain regular attendance in the workplace.
• Provide highest quality of service to the tenants, staff and visitors at the facility.
• Participate in regular required communication with Head Janitor, assistant Head Janitor, management, tenants and other staff.
• Must be able to work on a ladder or elevated surface.
