Position: Corporate Paralegal (In-House)

Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

About the Role

LHH is partnering with our client’s corporate legal department to hire an experienced Corporate Paralegal
. This role provides critical support across a wide range of legal matters, with a strong focus on corporate governance, entity management, and regulatory compliance
. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, prepare, and maintain corporate governance documents including resolutions, minutes, consents, organizational documents, and regulatory filings.
  • Support attorneys with corporate secretarial functions
    , corporate recordkeeping, and entity compliance tracking.
  • Manage the legal department calendar
    , key deadlines, and corporate events.
  • Assist with insurance filings
    , documentation gathering, and record maintenance.
  • Support SEC filings and help prepare related materials, data, and documentation.
  • Provide general legal support as needed, including special projects.
  • Maintain corporate databases, compliance materials, and document organization.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and support document preparation across Microsoft 365 and other business software.
Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of corporate paralegal experience, ideally in-house or within a regulated industry.
  • Strong background in corporate governance and entity management.
  • Experience preparing board materials, resolutions, minutes, and regulatory documents.
  • Insurance industry or regulated‑industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
    , Teams or Zoom, and common business software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work professionally across all levels of an organization.
