Franchise and Supply Network Associate (2+ yrs) – Am Law 100 Firm

About the Position: Our client, a Midwest-based Am Law firm, has an active need for a lawyer with franchise and distribution law experience to join its Chicago office as an associate. Responsibilities:

• Represent franchisors, licensors, and manufacturers in developing strategies, structuring transactions and negotiating agreements to get products and services to market through all levels of the supply chain
• Perform state registrations, international development and cross-border transactions
• Develop and structure franchise and distributor programs
• Counsel on various franchise contract and relationship issues
• Draft franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements, and negotiate supply contracts
• Assisting with franchise and distribution dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with franchise and distribution law
• Strong experience with contracts relating to franchise and distribution
• Experience in international licensing or franchising is a plus

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 – $435,000.
