Corporate & Securities Attorney

Our client, an established law firm located in the Loop, is seeking an experienced Corporate & Securities Attorney to join its business law practice. This role is ideal for a senior associate, counsel, or junior partner seeking sophisticated transactional work and long-term practice growth.

• Advise clients on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions
• Represent private equity sponsors, venture capital firms, and emerging growth companies
• Structure and negotiate private placements and venture financings
• Serve as outside general corporate counsel
• Draft and negotiate transaction and governance documents
• Manage deals efficiently and support business development initiatives

• J.D. and Illinois Bar admission
• 6+ years of corporate transactional experience
• Strong experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, and general corporate matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills
