Job DetailsAssociate Attorney — Employment, Labor & Workforce Management (Management-Side)
Who we’re looking for- We seek an associate attorney with 3+ years of experience focused on management-side employment and labor law at a firm representing employers.
- We value strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication, and the judgment to counsel clients on complex workplace issues.
- We’re looking for someone comfortable with direct client interaction and eager to participate in professional development and new client/business development initiatives.
- We advise and represent employers on a wide range of federal and state employment laws, including compliance, investigations, and dispute avoidance.
- We represent employers in matters involving labor relations and interactions with unions, including counseling and advocacy related to collective bargaining and labor-related proceedings.
- We draft, analyze, and refine employment policies, agreements, and communications to align with evolving legal requirements and business goals.
- We partner with clients to assess risk, develop practical strategies, and deliver business-focused solutions tailored to complex regulatory environments.
- We appreciate hands-on experience representing employers in employment and labor matters (e.g., counseling, litigation support, labor relations/union engagement).
- We value familiarity with federal labor law governing labor relations as well as experience advising on state and federal employment statutes.
- We look for polished writing, clear oral advocacy, and the ability to translate legal analysis into succinct, actionable guidance for business leaders.
- We welcome a collaborative mindset, strong client-service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple work streams with attention to detail and deadlines.
- We provide substantial direct client contact from day one, including participation in strategy calls, trainings, and advisory meetings.
