About the Position: Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer to join its practice as a senior-level associate in Chicago. This firm regularly ranks among the most active law firms for M&A and private equity deals in reputable benchmarking league tables and is routinely honored for its role in award-winning transactions, including “Deal of the Year” awards.

• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle, including initial platform acquisitions, add-ons, and portfolio company governance and exits
• Draft a variety of transaction-related documents

• 5-7 years of experience with M&A and private equity transactions, preferably from a large law firm
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and other documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions
• Strong familiarity with middle-market deal structures preferred
• Excellent academic credentials

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $365,000 – $420,000.
