We are working with a prestigious Am Law 50 firm with an active need for a commercial real estate leasing attorney to join its market-leading practice in a non-partner track position. Attorneys in this practice represent national and multinational companies, lenders, developers, and institutional lenders in a full range of real estate matters, and this group has earned a tier 1 ranking in real estate from The Legal 500 for nearly 10 consecutive years.

• Directly interact with clients, opposing counsel, and brokers to ensure successful negotiations and transactions
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements, including term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and subordination, non-disturbance, and (SNDAs)
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys on leasing matters

• 8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements
• Extensive experience representing landlords in leasing transactions
• In-depth understanding of the commercial leasing market
• Experience handling leases for multiple property types, including office, retail, industrial, and life sciences

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary for this position is $250,000 – $300,000.
