Job Description SummaryThis position is a senior paralegal with advanced legal knowledge, superior organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage complex and high‑stakes matters. You will act as a liaison between legal counsel, clients, and outside vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and exemplary service delivery.
Essential Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and management of complex cases, including high-volume litigation and corporate transactions.
- Provide strategic input during case planning, research, and pre-trial preparations.
- Draft, review, and manage critical legal documents with minimal legal counsel oversight.
- Oversee and coordinate discovery processes, including document production and e‑discovery management.
- Train, mentor, and review work of junior paralegals and support staff.
- Maintain direct client relationships, managing expectations and ensuring superior service quality.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate (ABA approved) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Assist with Diligent entities database access requests, maintenance and updates.
- Prepare and send requests for execution of consents, POAs and other documents via e‑signature portals (Docu Sign, Board vantage).
- Respond to due diligence requests from business partners and regulators re:
Pay Pal and affiliate entity corporate information. - Assist with procuring and renewing U.S. state business licenses.
- Submit invoices / agreements to contract system.
- Coordinate unclaimed property claims with outside vendor.
- Ad hoc research and special projects – assumed names, etc.
- Collate and distribute org chart changes.
- Assist with SEC Section 16 filings for directors and officers.
