Corporate Compliance Specialist, Chicago, prominent global law firm. MUST HAVE LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE.

$67,000 – $99,000/year

Hybrid: 35 Hour week, 3 days in 2 remote

This is a great role for a Corporate Legal Assistant!

Operate as part of a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients.

Duties include:

Prepare Annual Reports, Franchise Tax return filings, Secretary of State statutory reports, prep/file annual reports, correspondence to external stakeholders.

Draft, maintain, file corporate records: resolutions, board of director changes, officer appointments, minute book docs.

Develop and improve templates, processes, and procedures.

Serve on the Audit Letter Response team

REQUIRED:

Four- year degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a professional environment

Minimum 3 years of progressive responsibility in managing corporate

compliance matters

Law firm experience preferred

Experience with Delaware and Illinois Annual Reports and Franchise Tax

preferred

Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw (and Dialog) and other

internet research tools
