About the Position:

Our client, a global Am Law 50 Firm, has an active need for a labor and employment lawyer to join its practice as an associate in Chicago. This is a non-litigation position and will focus solely on employment counseling/transactions.

Responsibilities:

· Provide employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions

· Advise clients in L&E related compliance, including worker classification, wage and hour, policies and handbooks, and EEOC

· Draft employment and separation agreements

Required Qualifications:

· 2+ years of labor and employment counseling/transactional experience at a large law firm

· Experience drafting employment related agreements

· Strong academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000+.
