A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney in Chicago, IL, to join their team and represent clients in various personal injury cases.
Duties
- Advocate for clients in court and before government entities.
- Draft and prepare legal documents for clients.
- Review and assess drafts of demands and discovery prepared by paralegals.
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Negotiate settlements in legal disputes.
- Manage administrative tasks related to legal practice.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
- Minimum of five first-chair jury trials to verdict in the last five years.
- Access to a vehicle for travel to collar county cases.
- Proficiency with case management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
