Litigation Attorney

Amundsen Davis seeks a litigation attorney to handle media, first amendment, defamation, and invasion of privacy matters in its Chicago office.

• Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including court hearings and conferences.
• Perform all aspects of oral and written discovery, including depositions.
• Conduct extensive fact investigation/development and legal research.
• Draft pleadings, client reports, and affidavits.
• Engage in active motion practice in both state and federal court, including dispositive motions.
• Prepare for and participate in trial.

• Licensed in Illinois.
• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Substantive writing and deposition experience required.
• Strong work ethic, analytical abilities, solid research & writing skills, and ability to work well on a team.

The annual base salary range anticipated for this position in Illinois is $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience. This salary range excludes bonus opportunities. A listing of benefits can be found at
