Overview
The Chicago or virtual office of our Am Law 100 client is seeking an associate to join their growing Higher Education Law practice. This attorney will serve a range of public and private colleges and universities throughout the U.S., representing them in litigation and advising them on regulatory compliance matters.
Responsibilities- Represent colleges and universities in litigation and advise on regulatory compliance matters.
- At least five years of experience in higher education law, dealing with accreditation, Title IV (federal financial aid), Title VII, Title IX, FERPA, the Clery Act, and the ADA/Section 504 issues.
- Attorneys with employment litigation experience who want to focus on higher education law may be considered.
