Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process and record legal documents, such as deeds, mortgages, and subordination agreements, into official public records.
  • Ensure all documents and recorded information meet local statutory requirements and legal standards.
  • Accurately calculate recording fees for submitted documents.
  • Process recorded documents and ensure they are maintained accurately and within our Title Production Systems and delivered to our clients in a timely manner.
  • Make corrections to any documents that are rejected then resubmit for recording.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders, answering questions and resolving issues.
Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and title insurance principles is highly preferred.
  • Prior Title Recording experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Title Production Systems (Soft Pro preferred), and Microsoft Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Attention to detail is essential for reviewing documents, verifying information, and preventing errors that could impact property ownership.
  • The ability to manage large volumes of work, maintain accurate files, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
