Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Billable Requirement: 1,600–1,800 hours annually

A downtown Chicago boutique practice is seeking an Illinois-licensed attorney with 2–5 years of experience in estate planning and business matters. This role supports high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and entrepreneurs across estate, tax, corporate, and real estate matters. The environment is collaborative and growth-focused, offering the opportunity to build a sophisticated, well-rounded legal practice.

• Estate and wealth transfer planning
• Gift and estate tax strategy
• Family business succession planning
• Trust and estate administration
• Corporate and business advisory matters
• Real estate transactions

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
• Structure gift and estate tax planning strategies
• Manage trust and estate administration matters
  
  Form business entities and maintain corporate governance
• Handle real estate closings
• Prepare federal and Illinois estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns
• Collaborate with clients and outside professionals

• Illinois Bar admission required
• 2–5 years of relevant legal experience
• Background in estate planning and tax matters
• Experience in corporate transactions or residential real estate preferred, not required
• Interest in developing a broad, long-term practice in estate, corporate, real estate, and tax law
