Position: Cyber Litigation Attorney - AM LAW 100

Key Responsibilities

  • You will handle the defense of privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions, including those filed in state and federal courts across the country.
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions. This will include motions to strike, motions to dismiss, opposing class certification, and motions for summary judgment.
  • You will prepare and respond to written discovery, take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses.
  • You will participate in mediations for class action settlements, as well as the drafting of settlement papers for court approval.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
  • 6+ years of experience in complex litigation in state and federal courts.
  • A background in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy is beneficial.
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($150-200k base per annum).
