Trademark Attorney

Our client is a top firm, seeking a Trademark Staff Attorney for its Intellectual Property practice in Chicago. The salary for this position starts at $175k+. This position primarily involves trademark prosecution and enforcement. This is a non‑partner track position.

• Preparing and filing U.S. and international trademark applications with the USPTO, conducting trademark searches, preparing and responding to office actions, managing global trademark portfolios
• Enforcement strategies, which includes developing strategies, cease and desist letters, negotiating settlements, reviewing international trademark watch notices, managing int'l. trademark opposition and cancellations.
• Litigation/opposition support involving legal research, preparing pleadings, and discovery efforts.

All candidates must possess strong academic credentials and excellent writing and interpersonal skills, as well as an interest in working within a highly collaborative team environment.
