We are a full-service firm representing individuals and families in a variety of immigration matters, including family cases, removal (deportation) defense, U.S. citizenship and naturalization, and appeals.

We are seeking a skilled Associate Immigration Attorney

• Represent clients before the EOIR in removal defense matters.
• Represent clients in family-based immigration matters, asylum applications, U Visa applications, naturalization, and adjustment of status proceedings.
• Provide review and guidance for adjustments to work prepared by our Legal Assistants and Paralegals.
• Manage a high-volume workload with guidance from managing attorneys and support from our paralegal team.

• 2+ years of Immigration Law experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or any other state in the U.S. and in good standing
• Bilingual in Spanish & English – both speaking and writing
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Live within commuting distance to Chicago Loop
• May require some pre-scheduled Saturday work (9a-1p)
• Some travel may be required for in-person hearings

• Federal immigration litigation – particularly habeas and mandamus cases

During our introductory period (minimally 90 days), the Associate Attorney may be required to work in office only. Typically, our firm maintains a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in office).

1.30 minute virtual interview with the Director of Human Resources and firm Office Manager

2.30-60 minute in-person interview with the four (4) shareholders + submit writing sample of your choice

• Salary: $80,000+, commensurate with experience
