Immigration Attorney

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in immigration law. This role requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to conduct thorough legal research using tools such Westlaw. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and drafting legal documents.

• Provide expert legal counsel in areas including business immigration law, family immigration law, immigration litigation.
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, DOL, AAO.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development for immigration filings, including H-1B, PERM, O-1, L, NIW, Eb-1 and other immigration processes.
• Draft and review legal documents including statements, letters, pleadings, motions, and briefs with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies for clients.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in any jurisdiction But preferably in Illinois
• Proven experience in immigration law
• Strong legal analysis and writing skills with a track record of successful outcomes in litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research tools including Lexis Nexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
• Prior legal project management experience is preferred but not required.
