Keller Postman seeks a Litigation Support Attorney to support its representation of plaintiffs in complex litigation at the trial and appellate levels. This role is designed for an attorney who thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment and prefers to focus on litigation support, procedural execution, and quality control rather than primary case ownership.
The Litigation Support Attorney will perform a wide range of litigation support functions, leveraging their legal training to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across matters. Approximately thirty percent of the role will be dedicated to coordinating work streams within an assigned practice area and mentoring paralegals and legal assistants.
The compensation range for this full‑time position is $55/hour to $70/hour
, plus a year‑end discretionary bonus and benefits. Please note the Litigation Support Attorney is a non‑Partner‑track role.
- Assist the Chief of Litigation Services with coordinating and assigning litigation support tasks to paralegals and legal assistants while ensuring quality, timely completion of tasks.
- Mentor, train, and provide substantive guidance to legal support staff, helping to strengthen litigation skills, procedural knowledge, and overall performance.
- Manage and support all phases of litigation from an operational and procedural standpoint, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, arbitration, trial preparation, and appellate procedures.
- Support trial and hearing preparation by overseeing pretrial filings, managing trial transcripts, and compiling, organizing, and tracking trial exhibits.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, preparing, filing, and organizing pleadings, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents using Microsoft Word, CM/ECF, and related systems.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw and other sources to support attorneys and litigation teams.
- Perform detailed cite‑checking and quality control of legal documents, including Bluebook compliance, Shepardizing authorities, and verifying the accuracy of quoted material and cited exhibits.
- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, expert materials, attorney notebooks, and related documents in both hard copy and electronic case‑management systems.
- Implement and maintain organizational systems for case calendars, filings, correspondence, and litigation materials using firm software and tools.
- Communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, experts, and vendors as needed in support of litigation activities.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal departments to develop efficient procedures and improve litigation support workflows.

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of federal and state litigation procedures, including motion practice, discovery, arbitration, trial, and appellate processes.
- Advanced proficiency in legal research, legal writing support, and Bluebook citation standards, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and train legal support staff, contributing to team development and operational excellence.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, and demanding environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
