About the Position:
Our client, one of the world’s largest law firms, is seeking a tax lawyer to join its Chicago office as a mid/senior-level associate. Renowned as one of the leading tax practices globally, this group handles a wide range of tax matters, including policy and planning, transactional work, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on structuring domestic and cross-border investments across various asset classes, private investment offerings, and mergers and acquisitions
• Draft and negotiate contracts and investment documents
• Draft opinions and memoranda on complex US tax matters

Required Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience with international and corporate tax issues
• LLM in taxation is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $420,000.
