Civil Defense Firm Seeks Talented Attorney

We are a distinguished, full‑service civil defense firm in Chicago with over 35 years of experience delivering outstanding results for insurers, self‑insured entities, and other clients. Our practice focuses on high‑quality representation in insurance defense, including automobile/trucking liability, premises liability, catastrophic injury, bad faith claims, coverage disputes, construction litigation, municipal law, civil rights, and appellate work. We pride ourselves on a client‑focused approach, reasonable rates, strong courtroom advocacy, and a collaborative team environment.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Illinois bar admission (or pending admission with immediate eligibility)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, coverage, or related defense work (preferred; strong candidates with 1–2 years or judicial clerkship experience considered)
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong oral advocacy and client communication abilities
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Commitment to client service and professional excellence
