Healthcare Regulatory/Drug Pricing Associate (3+ yrs) – Am Law 50 Firm
About the Position: Our client, a top international law firm, has an active need for a healthcare lawyer with drug pricing experience to join its Chicago office as a mid or senior-level associate. This practice advises a wide spectrum of life sciences clients, including multinational corporations, start-up developers, and manufacturers of food and drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, dietary supplements, and cosmetics, as well as laboratories, trade associations, professional groups, and research institutions.

Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), False Claims Act (FCA), Stark Law, and related enforcement risks.
- Provide strategic counseling on drug pricing and reimbursement matters, with a focus on the 340B Drug Pricing Program and the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP).
- Analyze and interpret complex statutory and regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical pricing, discounts, rebates, and reporting obligations.
- Support compliance efforts related to government pricing calculations, eligibility determinations, and audit readiness.
- Assist with internal investigations, risk assessments, and responses to government inquiries involving pricing, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues.
- Draft and review policies, procedures, and compliance documentation related to drug pricing and federal healthcare program participation.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in drug and fraud and abuse matters
- Experience with drug pricing matters, including the 340B Program and the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
- Excellent academic credentials
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $365,000.
