Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Chicago, IL (100% Onsite) – Quick walk from Union Station & Ogilvie

Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 base salary + discretionary annual bonus
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide hands‑on support across a busy commercial litigation team. This role involves drafting and managing legal documents, coordinating case deadlines, and assisting with eDiscovery platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with multiple attorneys.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, revise, and organize legal documents, filings, and correspondence
- Manage electronic filings through court systems and online portals
- Maintain and update litigation calendars, deadlines, and docket schedules
- Assist with opening new matters, running conflict checks, and maintaining case records
- Support billing processes by preparing invoices, tracking time, and coordinating with the accounting team
- Gather required documentation from clients and monitor follow‑ups to meet deadlines
- Utilize eDiscovery and case management tools such as Relativity, Simplify, PACER, Odyssey, and Juralaw
- Collaborate with attorneys and the broader legal team on case preparation
- Complete additional tasks and administrative support as needed
- 4–5 years of litigation paralegal experience required
- Strong familiarity with eDiscovery tools; experience with Relativity and Simplify highly preferred
- Ability to support 10–12 attorneys with varying working styles
- Experience with PACER, Odyssey, Juralaw, and related legal software
- Ability to meet a 1200‑hour annual billable requirement
- Background in commercial litigation preferred (no workers’ compensation or personal injury)
- Strong organization, communication, and deadline management skills
