Our client, a prominent global Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking a real estate lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This firm’s Real Estate practice handles the full spectrum of commercial development, leasing, finance and investment matters for tenants, owners, lenders and investors, giving lawyers the opportunity to work on high-stakes, cross-border transactions and build a truly global practice.

• Advise real estate clients in the acquisition, financing, development and selling of all types of real estate assets
• Interact with a variety of clients including real estate investment funds and joint ventures, national and regional developers of retail, office and multifamily projects, publicly traded REITs, institutional investors, and investment management institutions

• 1-2 years of commercial real estate experience
• Experience with joint ventures related to the acquisition, operation and development of real estate assets
• Experience with transactions involving office buildings, regional shopping centers, hotels, resorts, multifamily residential complexes, mixed-use projects, healthcare-related projects, single-tenant retail sites, warehouse and industrial sites, and commercial and residential condominium and co‑op projects
• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $235,000.
