Franchise Paralegal – Corporate

Chicago, IL | Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 in-office)

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr

We’re seeking an experienced Franchise Paralegal to support a corporate transactional team. This role offers flexibility and a hybrid schedule.

• Manage franchise registrations, disclosures, renewals, and filings across multiple states.
• Draft and update franchise disclosure documents and agreements.
• Liaise with clients throughout registration and renewal processes.
• Monitor trademark registrations and franchise agreement timelines.
• Maintain precedent database and assist with drafting legal documents.
• Research, organize, and summarize documents; ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Track billable hours and maintain clear documentation.

• Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ franchise experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant legal software.

Monday–Friday, standard business hours with occasional overtime.

Microsoft Suite, iManage, Kofax, NASAA EFD, and state-specific portals.

Personal Time Off (PTO) accrual up to 184 hours a year, 13 paid holidays, and up to 6 weeks parental leave.
