Private Client Attorney – St. Louis

Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its Private Client practice group in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax law and estate planning, with a focus on creating comprehensive, tax-efficient solutions tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing estate documents, operating and shareholder agreements, and advising on insurance planning, trust funding, and corporate restructuring.

This role also involves handling estate administration, including probate proceedings, post-mortem tax planning, and estate tax return preparation. This role involves advising high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and multi-generational families on complex estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and business succession planning. Candidates should demonstrate excellent client service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex matters independently.

All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
