About the Position: We are working with an international law firm that has an active need for a corporate finance attorney to join as an associate in its sophisticated Chicago office. This firm’s Corporate Finance team structures billions in complex debt transactions each year for public and closely held clients, handling syndicated bank debt, mezzanine and private placements, restructurings and workouts and offering its attorneys an excellent opportunity to work on high-stakes, market-defining financings across industries.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a range of commercial finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings, for public and private companies, private equity funds and financial institutions

Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience with corporate finance, working with financial institutions and borrowers in commercial transactions
• Experience drafting loan, security, intercreditor and related documents
• Experience with advising on covenant compliance
• Experience leading due diligence teams and managing specialists
• Top academic credentials and excellent writing skills

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base compensation for this position is $180,000 – $315,000.
