Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Claim Director specializing in Casualty and Construction Defect claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing moderate exposure General Liability claims, including bodily injury, property damage, and construction defect claims. This role requires a proactive and detail‑oriented professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Compensation Package
  • Base Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
  • Bonus:
    Up to 15% annual bonus

Responsibilities
  • Investigate, analyze, and review new claims for coverage, liability, damages, and reserves.
  • Manage both litigated and non‑litigated third‑party injury and damage claim files to ensure proper documentation, adjustment, and payment.
  • Oversee investigators, adjusters, attorneys, and experts as needed.
  • Participate in special claim projects and other duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of claim handling experience, with prior experience in construction defect claims preferred.
  • Juris Doctorate with relevant insurance coverage or defense litigation experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Self‑motivated and task‑oriented professional.
