What You’ll Be Doing- Active direction of high-value workers’ compensation claims nationwide for assigned clients.
- Effectively coordinate coverage referrals and compliance issues with TPAs, Claim Management, and Compliance Department.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and direction to TPA claim adjusters across all phases of claim handling.
- Collaborate with business partners to deliver optimal outcomes and align on exposure evaluation and strategy.
- Collaborate with internal claim resources such as regional practice leaders and claim legal attorneys to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Perform claim account management, communicate claim issues and results, participate in TPA audits, and address technical and service issues.
- Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding claim experience, results, and trends.
You will report to the Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager - TPA.
What You Will Bring- Claim handling experience involving high-value/complex claim management and litigation management.
- Multi-jurisdictional (U.S.) experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Workers’ Compensation.
- Ability to positively influence external relationships; coaches, sets expectations, and holds people accountable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Strategic thinking and a mindset for continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills to partner with regional leads, claim legal, TPAs, clients, brokers, actuaries, ceded reinsurance staff, and underwriters.
