Property & Casualty Commercial Underwriter

• We are looking for a Property & Casualty Commercial Underwriter to help manage the firm's growth in our wholly-owned insurance entities (managing general agent and / or insurance wholesaler) in the United States.

• Underwrites day-to-day transactions in assigned specialty programs
• Coordinates underwriting, pricing, and loss control activities
• Improves existing insurance programs and underwriting methodologies
• Implements and improves underwriting program guidelines and ensures compliance
• Supports broker relationships
• Monitors performance metrics and prepares reports
• Drives the business towards profitable underwriting growth
• Support and lead special projects as needed

• Undergraduate degree + 7-15+ years of relevant professional experience underwirting commerical programs in the United States

• Demonstrated professional capabilities in commerical insurance underwriting in a professional setting
• Focus on process and governance
