IT Intern Position Summary
The IT Intern position includes valuable hands‑on experience for any students looking to get exposure to corporate IT. Under the guidance of our IT Specialist, our IT Intern will execute open tickets submitted by employees. The IT Intern will additionally assist the IT Specialist with projects including purchasing hardware, executing a new company‑wide ISP, launching & supporting a remote location, migrating servers, and much more.
EssentialFunctions/Primary Responsibilities
- Review & solve employee submitted tickets in a timely manner, with guidance & support from IT Specialist as needed
- Attend vendor meetings with IT Specialist
- Set‑up new employee workstations including upgrading desktops where appropriate, and imaging
- Assist the IT Specialist with larger projects, gaining hands‑on expertise in a wide‑range of IT
The IT Intern will have full access to the building including fulfillment & warehouse. Some lifting and climbing may be required.
Qualification Requirements- Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- Interested in pursuing a career in a corporate IT support environment
- Ability to work independently and complete projects in a timely manner
