Position Summary
:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience in IT operations, troubleshooting, and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, problem‑solving skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

JSSI Interns are eligible for company‑paid housing, including a meal plan which covers breakfast and dinner during the term of the internship. The hourly pay rate for our Internship Program is $23.00 or $24.00 if you do not require housing for the duration of your internship.
Please note that this internship position is not eligible for company‑provided healthcare benefits.
Job Responsibilities- Develop small features or modules for ongoing projects.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for code, features, and processes.
- Document lessons learned, challenges encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, or tools as required by the project.
- Help maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Engage in agile methodologies by contributing to sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Assist with integration testing and troubleshooting issues reported by users under the guidance of senior team members
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the IT team.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Current Junior standing.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux), and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
