Endpoint Engineer – Job Description (8+ Years Experience)

Role:
Endpoint Engineer / Endpoint Management Specialist

• Design, implement, and manage endpoint management solutions across enterprise environments.
• Administer and support endpoint security, configuration management, and patch management for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Manage and maintain endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, or Workspace ONE.
• Implement device compliance policies, security baselines, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Automate endpoint provisioning, configuration, and software deployment processes.
• Monitor endpoint health, troubleshoot device issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint security and compliance standards.
• Manage OS upgrades, patching cycles, and vulnerability remediation across endpoints.
• Provide L3 support for complex endpoint-related incidents and issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment procedures.

• Strong experience with Endpoint Management tools (Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Workspace ONE).
• Experience in Windows 10/11 administration and deployment.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy.
• Experience with endpoint security tools, antivirus, and EDR solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Power Shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with software packaging and deployment.
• Understanding of MDM/MAM concepts and device compliance policies.
• Knowledge of patch management and vulnerability remediation.

• Experience with Zero Trust security models.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools.
• Experience with device lifecycle management and asset management.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
