Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Service Now QA Lead/Test Manager to spearhead the testing strategy, automation efforts, and overall quality assurance for our Service Now implementations. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in manual and automated testing across Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM, as well as in integration scenarios. This role will oversee test planning and execution while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and various stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:- Proven experience in manual and automated testing for Service Now platforms.
- Expertise in creating test strategies, plans, and cases for Service Now applications and integrations.
- Proficient in automated test frameworks including ATF and Selenium.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Dev Ops methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior QA team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:Test Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for Service Now applications and integrations.Ensure comprehensive test coverage for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and customized applications.Establish best practices in testing and QA within Agile/Dev Ops settings.Functional, Regression & Automation TestingConduct manual testing for Service Now workflows, user interfaces, and APIs.Design and execute automated test scripts using ATF and Selenium.Conduct compatibility and performance testing over Service Now updates and patches.API & Integration TestingValidate integrations of Service Now with external tools such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and AWS.Perform REST/SOAP API validations using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.Test Management & Defect TrackingLeverage tools like JIRA, Service Now Test Management, HP ALM, or Azure Dev Ops for defect tracking.Lead defect triage sessions and manage resolution of issues.Provide comprehensive test reporting, dashboards, and analytics to stakeholders.CI/CD & Dev Ops IntegrationCollaborate with Dev Ops teams to incorporate testing into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.Facilitate the execution of automated regression tests as part of the release cycle.Leadership & CollaborationGuide and mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in QA.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and Service Now administrators to enhance quality.Engage in Service Now upgrade tests and impact assessments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
