HiveMQ is the Industrial AI Platform helping enterprises move from connected devices to intelligent operations. Built on the MQTT standard and a distributed edge‑to‑cloud architecture, HiveMQ connects and governs industrial data in real time, enabling global leaders like Audi, BMW, Eli Lilly, and Siemens to operationalize AI and drive innovation at scale.
At HiveMQ, our culture is Effortless → Empowered → Relentless. We make the complex simple, act with confidence and ownership, and never stop pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Join us to power the future of intelligent industry.
Job DescriptionHiveMQ is undergoing a major transformation into a multi‑motion, AI‑native growth engine. Communications has historically been a key driver of our inbound funnel, and now we need to turn it into a force multiplier across the GTM motions and the entire company. You will own our communications function end to end while also building the AI‑powered systems, guardrails, and workflows that scale our voice across teams, channels, and tools.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role for someone who is equally excited by positioning and press releases as by building agents, rubrics, and content ops workflows.
- Carrying through company messaging and narrative
- Drive thought leadership: blogs, bylines, podcasts, and speaking content
- Manage press releases, announcements, and key external communications
- Turn internal expertise (presentations, webinars, talks) into high‑performing content
- Maintain and evolve boiler plates, messaging docs, FAQs, and positioning one‑pagers
- Support high‑impact campaigns with strong copy and narratives that convert
- Partner directly with executives on key narratives and external presence, including leadership voice and high‑stakes moments
- Design and build AI‑enabled workflows to scale comms
- Develop and maintain rubrics, guardrails, and context packs for AI tools
- Partner with GTMOps and other teams to plug comms inputs into AI workflows across Glean, N8n, and other tools
- Continuously test and refine agents to increase quality and reduce manual review
- Monitor content across the org and course‑correct when it drifts from our messaging, enabling non‑marketers to create on‑brand content safely
- 8–10+ years in B2B tech communications, content, and/or PR
- Experience in data, cloud, integration, or adjacent technical domains
- Proven ability to write and edit: you can use AI as a tool but human value add is essential
- Hands‑on experience using modern LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) for content and workflows
- Demonstrated history of building content systems, playbooks, or frameworks
- Comfort working directly with senior leadership and navigating high expectations and a fast pace
- Metrics mindset: you care how comms impacts traffic, pipeline, and awareness, not just outputs
- Experience building or configuring AI agents/bots (e.g., using tools like Glean, N8n, Gemini “gems”, custom GPTs)
- Experience creating “voice agents” for executives
- Background in SEO‑driven content engines and understanding of how top‑of‑funnel content performs
- Experience at growth‑stage companies going through major strategic shifts
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
