Cyber Recovery Architecture Managers must be experienced in the Respond and Recover Security Functions including but not limited to cyber recovery, vulnerability management, and resilient architectures. Managers lead diverse teams of consultants with varying skills to meet and exceed client expectations through scoped engagements. This role will lead multiple client engagements (including recovery assessments, infrastructure dependency mappings, etc.) or support larger sized client engagements.
Senior Consultants in general contribute to client delivery by executing the necessary technical or process-focused tasks, producing high-quality architectural and security artifacts, and presenting findings and recommendations throughout an engagement. Senior Consultants may be assigned a Project Coordinator role to ensure delivery engagements adhere to the associated timeline, support project reporting requirements, and maintain alignment to the intended objectives. Senior Consultants are the primary leaders of AHEAD's security delivery teams responsible for assessments, designs, and operational documentation.
Managers also support business development activities alongside a sales specialist to help qualify client needs and expectations, particularly where security architecture, design tradeoffs, or solution feasibility must be evaluated. They may be directly engaged in client-facing interactions to assess current-state environments, articulate future-state security architectures, and produce and/or present sales proposals or support client-visioning workshops. Lastly, AHEAD Senior Consultants leverage their visibility and experience to contribute to the continuous improvement and maturation of in-practice service offerings and capabilities.
This includes influencing architectural standards, design patterns, and security approaches, as well as positively impacting the service portfolio and individuals on the team through thought leadership and mentorship.
