We are seeking a detail-oriented CLM Paralegal to support our Legal team with contract lifecycle management and legal technology initiatives. This role will focus on administering and supporting CLM systems, assisting with implementations, and ensuring contract processes are efficient, accurate, and well-documented. The ideal candidate has hands-on CLM experience, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support the organization’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
- Assist with and support CLM system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Manage contract intake, tracking, metadata accuracy, and workflow routing within the CLM platform
- Support contract review, execution, and storage processes in coordination with attorneys and business stakeholders
- Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks within the CLM system
- Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance during CLM implementations
- Prepare reports and dashboards related to contract status, turnaround times, and compliance
- Help develop and maintain documentation, process guides, and training materials
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding contract status, processes, and CLM usage
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across legal systems
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm
- Hands-on CLM system experience (e.g., Ironclad, Icertis, Agiloft, Docu Sign CLM, or similar)
- Implementation experience, including participation in CLM system rollouts or enhancements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with legal technology and cross-functional teams
- Must be located in Chicago, IL
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification
- Experience supporting commercial contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, sales agreements)
- Experience working with Legal Operations or Legal Technology teams
- Familiarity with contract data reporting and analytics
