Position OverviewThe Business Analyst plays a critical role in product management and coverage for Private Wealth and Front Office technology functions. This individual serves as the central point of contact for mission-critical applications, bridging the gap between end users and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Engineering: Translate business needs into well-defined requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and data flow diagrams.
Salesforce Ownership: Serve as the primary analyst for Salesforce functionality, managing functional and data requirements while ensuring architecture aligns with evolving business needs.
Data Analysis: Independently execute complex data analysis across multiple platforms using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Stakeholder Management: Build productive relationships with executive sponsors, technology colleagues, and vendors to convey pain points and process improvements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all delivered solutions satisfy business requirements through rigorous validation and testing.
Support & Resolution: Manage business-reported support issues through to full resolution within established service-level agreements.
Candidate Requirements Must HaveFinancial Services Expertise: 7+ years of experience in a similar role within Financial Services, specifically supporting Private Wealth or Front Office functions.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the private wealth alternative retail space, including the intermediary ecosystem.
Salesforce Proficiency: Strong understanding of Salesforce standard capabilities, data models, and configuration options.
Note:
This is a Business Analyst role, not a Salesforce Administrator position.
Fin Tech Platforms: Hands-on experience working with fintech distribution platforms (e.g., iCapital, CAIS), custodians, and transfer agents.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Nice to HavePower BI: Experience with the Power BI reporting environment, including dashboarding and data visualization.
SQL: Proficiency in writing SQL queries and understanding relational databases.
