About the position:

RKON is seeking a full‑time, permanent IT Project Manager. In this role, the individual will be a self‑motivated, results‑oriented, experienced Project Manager to manage and organize key IT infrastructure migration engagements. Project management responsibilities include delivering complex infrastructure advisory and operations projects on time within budget and scope. The Project Manager must have a background in security technology infrastructure skills, business acumen, team management, budgeting, and analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex security technology projects/programs from design and development to production
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and milestones involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring security technical feasibility
  • Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment according to client agreed upon Master Service Agreements, Statement of Works, Service Orders, and Change Authorizations
  • Identify required resources and schedule for project/program implementation
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the on‑time execution of projects within meetings for project status, stakeholder update, implementation/migration cut‑over, issue resolution, etc.
  • Ensure that all Security projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation while developing a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as project plan
  • Deliver regular project status updates to key internal and client project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks including creating strategy for risk mitigation and contingency planning
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues
  • Report and elevate project risks, actions, issues, and decisions to management as needed
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
Ideal Candidate Profile and

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
  • At least 8‑10 years’ working experience as a project manager with 3‑5 years in the technology sector
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, SCRUM, or equivalent preferred
  • Solid technical security background, with understanding or hands‑on experience in threat management, vulnerability scanning, and security monitoring technologies
  • IT Infrastructure project experience highly preferred (Systems, Networks, Endpoints, Migrations)
  • Excellent client‑facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with managing multiple technology/initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Ability to work during off hours and/or weekends
