Talent Fish is casting a line for a Senior Optime Application Coordinator Epic/Workday Consultant
. This is a Contract or Contract-to-Hire role in Remote (U.S.
-based). The reason this position exists is to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Optime and/or Workday solutions within a digital health environment. The ideal candidate will bridge clinical and operational workflows with technology to ensure effective use of systems that enhance patient care, staff efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- 5+ years of experience with Epic Optime or Workday configuration, support, and/or optimization.
- Current Epic certification in Optime or related Epic modules (e.g., Anesthesia, ASAP, Radiant).
- Experience in Workday HCM, Financials, or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- Proven success in leading or coordinating large‑scale EMR or ERP implementations.
- In‑depth understanding of clinical workflows, OR scheduling, and perioperative environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices, change management, and governance.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Act as the primary liaison between clinical/administrative teams and IT for Epic Optime or Workday modules.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and support processes.
- Configure and maintain system settings, workflows, and interfaces within Epic or Workday platforms.
- Analyze and document system issues and enhancement requests; manage incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve operational and clinical efficiencies.
- Support go‑lives, upgrades, and system maintenance cycles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Create end‑user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions as needed.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $65 $ 95 per hour
, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
